Mission & Vision Statement

The mission of NoVa Youth Hoops is to serve the youth of Northern Virginia by offering a comprehensive, community-based basketball program that supports players at all levels, including developmental, recreational, and competitive travel basketball.

We are dedicated to fostering growth both on and off the court through skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship, leadership, and character development while creating a positive and inclusive environment for all participants.

Our vision is to inspire a lifelong love for basketball and build a connected community where every participant has the opportunity to develop their potential, compete with purpose, and grow into confident, respectful leaders on and off the court

Who We Serve:

NoVa Youth Hoops serves youth basketball players throughout the Greater Loudoun County community and Northern Virginia, offering programs for players in Grades 1–12 and a range of experience and skill levels.

From players learning the fundamentals to those competing at a high level, our programs are designed to provide the right opportunities at every stage of a player's development.

What We Believe

We focus on teaching strong basketball fundamentals while helping players develop confidence, decision-making skills, and a deeper understanding of the game.

Competition is an important part of basketball. We provide opportunities for players to challenge themselves, compete at an appropriate level, and learn how to work together as a team.

Basketball provides lessons that extend far beyond the court. We encourage discipline, resilience, respect, accountability, and a commitment to doing things the right way.

Youth basketball is a team effort. We believe players, coaches, officials, parents, and volunteers all play an important role in creating a positive experience for everyone.

We believe every young player deserves an opportunity to participate, develop, and enjoy the game. We strive to provide programs that are accessible to families throughout our community.
